Culture Change: Leveraging First Party Data to Improve Customer Experience
- Regional focus
- Global
- Industry focus
- Consumer Goods
- Discussion type
- Online Roundtable
Overview
With a turbulent economic climate and inflation rising, learning how to respond to these uncertainties is crucial for CPGs. The impact on customer behaviour can be profound, forcing brands to rethink how to drive consumer engagement and sales most effectively. How to do this, however, becomes a challenge for CPG companies, especially when asked to do more with less.
In light of data regulation and ongoing privacy changes, brands need to focus on capturing first party data which has been a challenge for CPG brands….until now.. When used correctly, first party data drives relevancy which increases consumer engagement, sales and life-time value. Historically, CPG brands have had to rely on retailers for accurate and scalable data. However, the tables have turned, and CPG companies are now capturing both consumer’s rational and emotional preferences at scale. Increasing trust and transparency on the path to purchase.
CPGs, with the right tools, can build operational resilience, drive top- and bottom-line value, and lay the foundation today to put significant distance between themselves and the rest of the pack as the economy gains a firmer, more predictable footing.
Topics of Discussion:
- How to best acquire and use first party data
- The impact of inflation on consumer habits and how to prepare for future changes
- Re-thinking strategies to increase consumer engagement

The Evolving Digital Security Landscape
- Regional focus
- North America
- Industry focus
- All Industries
- Discussion type
- Online Roundtable
Overview
While not a new concept, digital security is evolving at a rapid speed. Whether it’s the pandemic changing working lifestyles, or the convenience of cloud services, the migration to the cloud has been prevalent in many industries. Data becomes more at risk in the cloud, so understanding how it can be accessed to therefore protect the data becomes important. Understanding your attack surface and implementing a zero trust policy – never trust, always verify – is a key strategy in protecting data.
Now, with the looming post-quantum threat, businesses need to be forward thinking in order to think about additional security measure they need to implement in order to protect their data from attacks such as “harvest now, decrypt later”. Knowing what needs to be secured, visibility of cryptographic assets and implementing crypto agility will allow companies to test algorithms and transition to hybrid cryptography, therefore protecting against post-quantum threats.
This discussion will explore digital security transformations in a world where post-quantum is an inevitable threat, identifying pain points in digital security systems and how zero trust and identifying cryptographic assets can lead to a secure data protection plan.
Topics of Discussion:
- Digital Security Strategies
- Zero Trust
- Challenges in digital security systems
- Visibility of your systems and cryptographic assets
- Post-quantum preparedness

Overview
Many organisations have moved to hybrid-working, meaning their reliance on the cloud has become imperative. How has the move to hybrid working affected business? But more so, how has it allowed for women to build upon their career development? Being a woman in leadership is often a tough position to be in. Climbing the ladder is often difficult. Breaks from work, maybe pregnancy or care related breaks, can often hinder the development to leadership as resources for support are lacking. Using the cloud to allow for hybrid-working to combat this could perhaps be the key.
However, data continues to explode exponentially and across many different mediums providing greater potential for threat actions. How are businesses attempting to combat this? Research has shown that a more diverse workforce allows for more creativity and innovation, meaning smarter and new ways to protect data are created. Women within the workforce are key to this. Encouraging more women to join this industry is pivotal to creating a safer digital space.
Join us in this discussion where we uncover women’s individual journeys to a career within cloud and data.
Topics of Discussion:
- The skills shortage for women
- Encouraging women to work within cloud and digitalisation

How to Stop Cyber Attacks Before They Stop You
- Regional focus
- North America
- Industry focus
- All Industries
- Discussion type
- Online Roundtable
Overview
Risk management doesn't always mean eliminating the chance of having a security incident, it's about handling if and when it does occur in a calm, collected, and methodological manner so a small incident doesn’t turn into a major one. Or worst case, a major one is identified and mitigated in minutes, as opposed to days.
This has a habit of reinforcing the “there is no real ROI” argument that IT leaders regularly hear from the C-level, but a motivated threat actor will not give up just because they were stopped once.
Join a panel of thought leaders to explore what proactive measures businesses have in place now, what they will look to implement as part of their go-forward strategy to reduce the overall impact and expense of an incident and the potential future ones, and how the shift to the cloud has changed global security strategy.
Topics of Discussion:
- Identifying challenges with proliferation of attack surfaces
- Containing attempted attacks
- Safeguarding a remote/hybrid workforce
- Increasing speed and effectiveness to respond to cyber security incidents
- Securing business continuity with Interruptions

And as leaders face record-breaking attrition rates, and dramatically changed employee expectations, they must shake the trepidation and proactively use the resources at their disposal to stay one step ahead.
Indeed, organizations are required to build talent pools – even before there is an open role to fill, and of course, explore how AI and talent/skills data can bolster their ambitious talent strategies.
So, in a landscape where replacing a full-time employee can cost up to 2x the amount of that employee’s annual salary (Gallup) - how are the best-in-class ensuring they’re spending that money where it counts?
Join Beamery to explore these challenges and uncover how to transform your talent strategy and achieve intelligent workforce planning.

Overview
The consumer journey has changed, and brands are no longer in control. As such, marketers are finding new ways to meet consumers where they are, and effective marketing is harder than ever before. Therefore, it’s essential to communicate in a way that offers authenticity, creativity, and personalization – what better leaders to drive this shift than female changemakers? Change is here, and women are leading the way.
Change never comes easy, and as women more frequently step into elevated leadership roles, we face our own specific set of challenges (and opportunities). With the human-centric approach women bring to leadership, female leaders are particularly equipped to drive the relationship-led marketing strategy necessary to succeed in today’s creator economy. Additionally, studies have shown that the more diverse the group, the more creative and innovative the output, and the more profitable the results.
This roundtable discussion will be an open conversation around the challenges and opportunities facing women in marketing today. Specifically, how we can leverage our strengths to drive change for ourselves, our marketing teams, and our greater industry.
Topics of Discussion:
- The journey to your career
- How diversity, in gender and other areas, leads to innovative solutions

- Online Roundtable
Overview
COVID-19, the war in Ukraine and the rise in inflation levels have increased anxiety for many employees, with many uncertain about their future. Employees mental health and lifestyle has been severely affected by these turbulences, creating challenges that are specific to individuals. A global wellbeing report conducted by Alight found that more than half working remotely positively impacts their overall wellbeing, with 81% saying they’d be interested in working remotely. In order to support employee wellbeing, benefits teams must coordinate with those HR areas that control how flexible work styles are and provide to support remote workers.
Financial instability is also of a big concern for employees with inflation increasing rapidly. Again, Alight found that only 38% of employees rate their financial wellbeing positively. Employees want to regain more control over their finances, yet this is an area many find intimidating and could benefit from help in this area, possibly reducing their anxieties surrounding the global turbulences and thus increasing their positively level for their work.
HR technologies need to adapt and improve to provide support for their employees. Only 1 in 3 say their HR systems are effective. A proactive employee wellbeing strategy demonstrates to employees that their organisation is genuine about supporting their welfare. Implementing a HR technology that is personalised through AI would allow employees to make better decisions, thus adapting to the global climate and meeting the needs of individual employees.
Topics of Discussion:
- Global uncertainties effecting employee experience
- Improvement in HR technology to improve employee experience and wellbeing
- Use of AI to improve employee decisions
- How to improve employees´ financial wellbeing through more flexible means & options
